I love you…every single damn person who’s clicked on this site and spent their minutes reading what I write. Thank you…seriously.
I haven’t been having any damn luck writing lately. The truth is that I’ve been trying to get my gumption up to write a book. A real life, honest to goodness booky book, with a beginning, middle and end. The challenge is what (in the hell) such a thing looks like…? I continually overthink this…should it be a fantasy/fiction? I can’t say that I’ve ever been good at that. Or maybe it’s my story…cobbled together from blogs and tall tales? Hmmm. How ’bout my story told through my grandmama’s eyes…or maybe…her story told through mine?
Thoughts? I welcome your feedback, gentle reader.

Just fucking write.
(And I mean this in a genuinely encouraging manner–you’re such a great writer, just fucking write something. Not sure what? Write 2 or 3 things simultaneously, you’ll figure out what you’re more passionate about.)

Hmmm. That’s a tough one. Something uplifting (like what you normally do) in these hard times in our country. Or maybe something through the eyes of our pets. Keep thinking about your life and the men you have delt with. That might be interesting to the ladies.

I like whatever you write . Write from your heart just do it then redo it then try again just do it until you get right and you will get it right if you are happy with what you do then you did it right. Love Meemaw

I would love to see you write a book about where you came from (hilarious stories and all) the south and differences you had to adjust to and what brought you to PDX). What made you stay, etc.???
